All bookings are considered firm and payment is processed when a booking is made.

No refund is given for cancellations.

In the event a class is cancelled or rescheduled a refund will be issued within 24 hours to the original form of payment.

If you are unable to attend class, you may transfer the ticket to another person (please notify us).


Cooking is an activity with embedded hazards, as such The Carriage House Cooking School is not responsible for harm or damages occurred by guests as a result of participation in cooking classes or events.

The Carriage House Cooking School does not accept responsibility for food allergies or insensitivities.  It is solely the participants responsibility to manage their exposure to allergens and food items that promote physiologic reactions, both known and unknown.

Minimum Age

Cooking is an activity with embedded hazards, as such The Carriage House Cooking School does not allow children under 14 years of age to participate in classes.  

Children 14 to 16 years of age must be supervised by a parent or legal guardian at all times, requiring the parent or guardian to participate alongside their minor as a paid participant.  

Children 16 to 18 years of age are able to independently participate in general classes.

All participants under 18 years of age (minors) must have a signed release by a parent or legal guardian for each class they attend. 


All events begin at the stated time in the class calendar.  It is appreciated if guests arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of class and be prepared at the stated time.


I consent to and allow any use and reproduction of any and all photographs or videotapes taken of myself or child during their participation unless I have otherwise notified Carriage House Cooking School. 

I agree to their right to use or reproduce such photographs and videotape in any media including social media or websites.


Recipes will be given to participants for the food items produced.  These recipes are and remain the intellectual property of The Carriage House Cooking School. These may not be used by participants for any commercial use.  The Carriage House Cooking School reserves the right to take judicial action to prevent any unauthorized use of The Carriage House Cooking School’s recipes.


The Carriage House Cooking School grants a revokable permission for participants to responsibly consume wine, beer and cider beverages while participating in classes and events.  

Guests are expected to be responsible for their own actions and the actions of others who consume their beverages.

Under no circumstances will staff of the Carriage House Cooking School handle, serve or distribute any wine, beer or cider beverages brought by participants.  

Participants that consume wine, beer or cider beverages agree to hold The Carriage House Cooking School, their agents and affiliates, harmless of any liability associated with their consumption of alcohol, including but not limited to class activities and transportation to and from class events.  Additionally participants agree to be responsible for any and all harm, damages and civil punishments that should be enforced upon The Carriage House Cooking School as a result of the participants consumption of wine, beer or cider associated with classes or events.


The Carriage House Cooking School is a tobacco free property. The consumption of smoke and smokeless tobacco, electronic cigarettes or vaporization products is prohibited anywhere on the property.
